Problem

Work as part of a small team to redesign a major library website that encompasses over 7,000 individual pages (organized into innumerable distinct sections and departments), a dozen or so web applications, and varying standards of HTML (from the clean and semantic to the obfuscated and table-based). The new site must be accessible, easy to navigate, and extensible enough to allow for the incorporation of a wide variety of upcoming library projects. Do all of this by hand—without a CMS.

Include a wiki that contains documentation for the templates and CSS features included in the redesign and style guidelines for future changes to the library site.

Solution

The library front page A library back page Another library back page
